Sony is preparing a PS5 event for early June, according to Jason Schreier

With Microsoft having already shown part of its charts and preparing the ground for new monthly announcements, the ball of the new generation is on the roof of Sony, which until now has only talked about technical data and its new DualSense controller.

In a recent podcast, journalist Jason Schreier has regained some buzz about the company's plans with a PS5 presentation due to take place in early or mid-June.

The event, which was already rumored for June 4 in April, could move forward or backward based on the situation caused by the pandemic, but Schreier comments that, as far as he knows, by the middle of next month we should have more information about the new console or its games.
The idea is a little in line with the plans discussed by Microsoft, which will offer an event on Xbox Game Studios games in July but has not given more information about what it has in store for June. Knowing that they are the dates that were handled for the presentation at E3 2020, it seems that the summer will start in style.
